For those who are still looking forward to it, we received confirmation that the PlayStation Vita version of Rainbow Moon is still on the way. In talking with eastasiasoft's Nils Ngai, we were told that the port of the game was nearly done and is still on track for a 2013 release. The development staff is still working on cross-save functionality between the PlayStation 3 and Vita versions as well as a few other unspecified problems.

Along with this update, the company has teased an announcement next week about Rainbow Skies. The Vita port of Rainbow Moon is acting as a testbed for Skies, so if everything goes well RPGamers might end up seeing it on Vita as well.
