BioWare has recently announced a special boxed set for the Mass Effect series. The Mass Effect Trilogy will contain all three games in a special foil box featuring artwork of Commander Shepard. BioWare also stated that the collection's games will be compatible with saves from the original games, as will the set's version of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer.

The Mass Effect Trilogy will be released on November 6, 2012 in North America for PC and the Xbox 360. The PlayStation 3 version will be released at a later date, and despite Mass Effect 3's upcoming release on the Wii U, it has not been announced for the console. This set will cost $59.99.
