Mass Effect 3's first major post-release single-player DLC pack, Leviathan, has been announced for release on August 28. It will be available for $10 on Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network, and Origin.

Taking place during (rather than after) the main Mass Effect 3 campaign, Leviathan has Commander Shepard and her crew investigating a mysterious secret in the depths of space, hoping to find assistance in their fight against the Reapers. Along with this storyline, the DLC includes new weapons and upgrades for the player.
