Hothead Games has released some story details for The Baconing. In The Baconing, our egotistical hero, Deathspank is bored out of his mind with nobody to protect. While out on a day of heroic actions, DeathSpank stumbles upon the Forest of Tomorrow, and meets an unlikely group of scientists: The Nuclear Family.

This family of mad scientists is, unfortunately, not on speaking terms. DeathSpank must reunite the family in order to gain access to the Fire of Bacon. Sadly, this isn't as easy as it sounds, as the family struggles to reason with one another. DeathSpank must also face-off against AntiSpank, whose very presence threatens everything he stands for. The Baconing is set to release this summer on Mac, PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
