Planescape: Torment, the acclaimed 1999 RPG from Black Isle Studios, has been added to the catalogue of games featured on online distributor Good Old Games. Planescape: Torment joins Bioware's Baldur's Gate on the GOG service, which appeared on the site after the recent relaunch of the service.

On September 19, the GOG.com site was closed, with a clarification posted on September 20 stating the closedown was for "business and technical reasons". The operators of Good Old Games promised a method for downloading purchases made on the site would be made avaliable later in the week. On September 22, it was revealed that the site would be relaunching without its "beta" tag, and would feature new games added to its catalogue.
