Champions Online, a Cryptic Studios superhero MMORPG, is celebrating its first anniversary this month. Everyone is invited, as the game will be free to play from September 1-7.

Based on the Champions tabletop RPG system, the game features action-based combat and highly customizable superhero characters. Interested gamers can create an account and download the game on the Champions Online website.
