Majesco Entertainment Company announced AWAY Shuffle Dungeon for the Nintendo DS to hit North American stores this fall. Chief Executive Officer, Jesse Sutton, of Majesco is excited to bring in the "collective creative talent of Hironobu Sakaguchi, Naoto Oshima, and Nobuo Uematsu" for its newest RPG.

In AWAY Shuffle Dungeon, the villagers of Webb Village have been kidnapped by a mysterious force and it's up to players to take on the role of Sword in rescuing the stolen villagers from sinister dungeons and to defeat the mysterious culprit behind these kidnappings. In order to unlock the dungeons where the villagers are kept, Sword must find various objects, like musical instruments. His second challenge is to save all the villagers within a specific time limit before the dungeon "shuffles" and reconfigures, hurting Sword and any survivors still remaining.

Once villagers are saved, they can assist Sword on his quest. Also on Sword's side are the magical "Fupongs," and any dungeon treasure he finds may unlock village stores for armor, weapons, health, medical aid, and more. AWAY Shuffle Dungeon also features 2D Shuffle Dungeons and 3D Webb Village, as well as voice-over cinematics.
