Though Namco Bandai Games America continues to reveal and subsequently remove all mention of the game on North American sites, including the company's own, Eternal Sonata will be released for the PlayStation 3, at least in Japan. In this week's issue of Famitsu magazine, it has been revealed that Trusty Bell would be making its way over to Sony's next generation console in Spring 2008.
This version of the game is scheduled to include Crescendo and Serenade as playable characters and give players the ability to change clothes within the game. While this announcement has no bearing on the game's release in North America, it does make the mishaps look even more suspicious. Stay tuned to RPGamer as new details come in.
