World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade will be getting a new instance soon, and RPGamer talked to Blizzard at E3 in order to get you some of the details of what to expect. Zul'Aman will be a 10 person RAID instance where players will ultimately fight Zul'Jin.

Blizzard showed off many aspects of the non-keyed instance. One part they were proud of was that instead of just having grunts standing around a campfire waiting for PCs to show up, they decided to script things so that monsters look like they realistically react to people invading their area. So as Blizzard's character was lead into the area, they spotted a large troll who barked some orders, and sure enough, a bunch of little guys came running at us from around a corner, eager to repel the invaders.

Another thing players will notice is the bear mounts the enemies have in the instance. Continuing the animal theme, there are four mid-bosses in the instance before the final fight, and each is a troll merged with a different animal, that they can shift into. The order is bear, dragonhawk, lynx, and eagle. When players finally get to Zul'Jin, he will make use of all four forms in his attempt to wipe out the characters.

An interesting feature they're throwing in relates to the time it takes players to finish the instance. The faster players finish the instance, the better the loot they get will be.

On another note, WoW will be adding integrated voice chat. Why would players want to use it instead of their Ventrilo or Teamspeak servers? Well Blizzard lists the following benefits.

It's integrated into the user interface so you can see who is talking. There's an ignore list for those people who maybe you don't want to hear anymore. Parental controls will let parents decide to lock the game down to listen or talk only modes. Also, the game will be smart and tone down sound effects while people are speaking, so explosions won't cause you to miss out on that important order the raid leader just said.
