Oblivion to Reappear in September

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Bethesda Softworks has announced that they will be releasing a Game of the Year Edition for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in September for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PCs. The award-winning Oblivion was first released in March 2006 for Windows and the Xbox 360 and again for the PlayStation 3 in March 2007.

This edition will feature not only the complete original game, but also the Shivering Isles expansion and the Knights of the Nine downloadable content. Shivering Isles boasts over thirty hours of extended gameplay and features a new area to explore, the realm of Sheogorath. Knights of the Nine offers new factions and quests within the existing world of Oblivion. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion currently retails without the extra content for $59.99 USD for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles and $49.99 for Windows. No official announcement has been made regarding the price of this new edition.
