Bethesda has already been nominated for many awards for its RPG, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Oblivion has already been nominated for numerous awards in upcoming events, including the Golden Joystick Awards (five nominations) and The British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards (five nominations).
Bethesda announced today that Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would be a launch title for the PlayStation 3 in November in North America, and in March for European RPGamers. In addition, a PSP title, The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion, will be released in Spring 2007 for both North America and Europe. No details about the PSP game were announced at this time. Based on the history of Elder Scrolls Travels titles, the game will be a separate side story to Oblivion.
Were very excited to be able to bring a game like Oblivion out for launch for the PlayStation 3, said Bethesda Softworks president, Vlatko Andonov. Oblivions countless awards and commercial success to date make it clear that PlayStation 3 owners are in for a real treat this November.
