Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Namco have announced that Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse will launch in Europe on October 28. The game will be released in a PAL-exclusive special edition version to help those gamers whom might not have had the chance to play the original title, which was never released in Europe. A DVD chronicling the adventures that led up to Episode II will be included in the box, which will ship as a Limited Edition packaging.

Xenosaga Episode II was released in Japan on June 24, 2004 and in North America on February 15, 2005. The game boasts around 70 hours of gameplay, CGI cutscenes, and a deep storyline that will eventually play out across six episodes. This title was developed by Monolith Soft, then published in North America and Japan by Namco, while Sony and Namco were working together to bring the game to Europe.
