As the Tokyo Game Show prepares to storm Japan, news is flooding across the Pacific Ocean--most specifically, who will be bringing what to the highly anticipated trade show. The latest to reveal its entourage is Square Enix, who has a lineup that would make any escort jealous.
So far, seven RPGs have been announced for display at the show, consisting of four games for the PlayStation 2, and three games for Japanese cell phones, all sporting playable demos. Playstation 2 demos are available for Code Age Commanders, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus, Front Mission Online, and Kingdom Hearts II, whereas the cell phone demos include Dragon Quest II, Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis, and Front Mission 2089.
The Tokyo Game Show runs on September 16 through September 18 in the Makuhari Messe Convention Center. Tune in to RPGamer on those days to read coverage of the show from the eyes of our correspondent, Paul Koehler.
