Square Enix recently revealed via Slime Knights, its official Dragon Quest VIII fan club, that Dragon Quest VIII demo discs will soon be available. The company is shipping demo discs to retailers sometime soon. Subscribers to the manga magazine Shonen Jump will also receive free demos in the upcoming November issue, which will be sent out in October. Those who are currently not subscribers may still obtain the demo disc from Shonen Jump if they subscribe to the magazine before the end of the day.

Dragon Quest VIII was released in Japan on November 27, 2004. The anticipated title will arrive in North America in November of this year.
