Square Enix has announced that today Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir has shipped to retailers nationwide. FMA2 will retail at a price of $39.99 and has been rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB. Also shipping with the game is a bonus DVD that features the first two episodes of season two of the anime, which is scheduled to air on Cartoon Network this fall.
The game begins in Lior, the same area the anime begins, and before the events of the original game Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel. Before they know it, Edward and Alphonse are mixed up in a battle with unknown creatures. Right after this, they encounter a mysterious woman who hands the brothers a ring and then disappears without a trace.
