New Dragon Quest VIII Details Surface

The Japanese publication V-Jump has revealed some information concerning Square Enix's upcoming title Dragon Quest VIII. A new "nakama" command will give players the ability to have conversations with the rest of the party. Also, when day and night time fall upon the world, the background environments will change accordingly.

Dragon Quest VIII is scheduled to hit Japanese retailers sometime this winter. However, a North American release has yet to be announced.
