Nintendo Announces Truckload of Games for ECTS
Nintendo

With this year's ECTS just around the corner, the video game industry is readying itself for another stint in the limelight. The annual London-based video game exposition is already looking to be a much livelier affair than previous installments. The latest company to announce its line-up for the show is Nintendo, which will arrive in London in full force...and in a truck.

The company announced that it will be showcasing its upcoming titles in a 40-ton, decorated truck parked outside Earl's Court. Games on display will include both first and third party offerings. Nintendo's full roster for the show includes:

    GameCube
  • 1080 Avalanche
  • F-Zero GX
  • Pikmin 2
  • The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords
  • Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
  • Pac-Man
  • Pokémon Box
  • Soul Calibur II

This year's ECTS, which runs from August 27th to 29th, forms part of the inaugural London Games Week. As usual, ECTS is only open to industry members. Sony's PlayStation Experience, on the other hand, will take in all comers. The PlayStation Experience, which is also part of London Games Week, will take place from August 28th to 31st at Earl's Court. Over 100 games from more than a dozen publishers will be on hand for rabid gamers to get their paws on. Entrance to the event will cost £6 if pre-booked or £8 at the door.

While there aren't all that many RPGs slated for display, the event should still be a treat for oft-neglected European gamers. For a full list of the games scheduled to appear at the PlayStation Experience, visit Sony's flash-heavy official site.
