Mac gamers have been missing out on Neverwinter Nights for a while, but on July 30th those anticipating the chance to play it will have to wait no longer. The original version of Neverwinter Nights will be released to the public, almost intact. All the features of the PC version will be included, except the toolset, which allows the creation of personal scenarios and proved to be too difficult to port.

The loss of the toolset might be a hefty blow to some gamers, but the Mac edition will include the Dungeon Master feature, so other players can control the flow of story in pre-made scenarios during online multi-play. With editions on Windows, Linux, and now Mac, almost everyone can have classic Dungeons & Dragons fun. The suggested price of the Mac edition of Neverwinter Nights is $49.99.
