Taito's kiddie-centric Rakugaki Kingdom has found a boat on which to make its way to North America. Agetec has announced it will be localizing the game for North American audiences, some six months after the game hit shelves in Japan.

The word "Rakugaki" translates loosely to graffiti, and this will figure prominently into the gameplay, which involves players drawing and then raising graffiti characters. There are plans in the works to produce an animated series in Japan based upon the game, and its art developer worked on several noteworthy anime projects, such as Kiki's Delivery Service. Currently, Agetec is planning to release the game in North America this coming spring.
