Sony Online Entertainment's PlayStation 2 installment of its popular EverQuest series, EverQuest Online Adventures, will soon enter beta testing stages. The company has begun a public sign-up for all interested fans.

The first phase of public beta testing is scheduled to begin in September 2002. Potential candidates will need:

• A PlayStation 2
• A PS2 Network Adaptor
• A PS2 Memory Card 8MB
• An Internet connection and Internet Service Provider - the game may be played using either a broadband or narrowband (dial-up) internet connection
• A valid Station Account
