THQ has revealed the Phantasy Star Collection will be making it to North American shores sooner than expected. Having previously indicated the collection would not make it until 2003, the company now expects to release the game in November, just in time for the holiday season.

A holiday release is probably much preferable to one in the winter months, so THQ's move isn't very surprising. Phantasy Star Collection in a compilation of the first three Phantasy Star titles. The compilation contains a save feature which keeps the files separated by game. An exact date in November has not been revealed as yet, but expect RPGamer to bring you news of one as it emerges.
