Dragon Empires Short Story Contest Winner In

The votes have been tallied, and a winner decided, in the recent contest conducted by Codemasters and its affiliates promoting the upcoming Dragon Empires. The winning entry, selected from among a variety of short stories that ranged up to 3000 words long, is Razvan Haiduc's Voices in the Wind, based upon one of the contest's official themes, honor.

As a result of his writing prowess, Haiduc will receive a signed artwork render and a Dragon Empires t-shirt. Anyone interested in reading his story can head on over to the official website, where further information on the game can also be found. Dragon Empires is currently slated for release sometime in 2003, with a beta test taking place in winter 2002.
