Square announces Final Fantasy III for the Game Boy Advance

In a (not so) surprising move, Square has announced it is developing Final Fantasy III for the Game Boy Advance. This follows a slew of announced of Game Boy Advance games from Square.

RPGamer initially reported amidst a whirlwind of Final Fantasy announcements that Final Fantasy III would be remade on the Wonderswan Color. However, earlier this year, it was also found that the game had suffered numerous delays. It is now obvious that these delays were used to port the game to the Game Boy Advance. Other than the fact that it is in development, very little is known about this version of Final Fantasy III -- even whether it will be using the same updated graphics as the Wonderswan Color.
