Sierra Studios, publisher of Troika Games' RPG Arcanum, has announced it will be releasing the sheet music for the game in weekly stages. The sheet music is located at Sierra Studio's Arcanum site, in the Media section under Soundtrack. In addition to this announcement; in conjunction with MP3.com, players can download the soundtrack performed by the Seattle Symphony.

Arcanum is a fantasy-science fiction RPG, in which the player can choose to be any one of the ten races in the game: Dwarf, Gnome, Halfling, Ogre, Ogre Hybrid, Orc, Half-Orc, Elven, Human, and Half-Elven. In terms of "classes", there are a multitude of backgrounds which determine how the PC's general statistics and skills start out. Some examples are Escaped Lunatic, Nietzche Poster Boy, and Miracle Operation. Certain backgrounds such as the Frankenstein Monster, and Tomboy are restricted to gender or in the case of race, the background Agoraphobic, only Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings need apply.

Arcanum is scheduled for an August 24 2001 release. Further details about obtaining the sheet music can be found at Sierra Studios' Arcanum site. Troika Games L.L.C. was founded by three members of the original Fallout team.
