Beginning July 26th, gamers will be able to reserve their copies of Enix's upcoming
PlayStation RPG Dragon Quest VII
online through a special Japanese website. The highly anticipated PlayStation RPG
will span two discs and retail for 7800 yen (aprox. $72).
Dragon Quest VII will be available on
August 26th in Japan. Enix is predicting sales in excess of 2.6 Million units at
launch, 5% of which will go to online shoppers.
Ordering online through the official Dragon Quest VII
web site will garner gamers a limited edition memory card case. However, since
Enix's Japanese division is offering this deal, taking advantage will require
substantial understanding of the Japanese written languages. Enix's American website
(www.enix.com) makes no mention of this promotion,
or of an impending American release.
