Atlus' latest Playstation RPG will be the much anticipated GrowLanser, from the creators of the famed Langrisser series. The setting of Growlanser is in a kingdom protected by the element of magic and takes place in the Middle Age era. Details of a new battle system called Real-time Mission Clear, in which during the battles, not only your your team or the opponent be involved in the battle, but also any other people/monsters in the battle area will also be involved in the battle. "For example, the opponents may use the people on the street as hostages." Growlanser is tentatively scheduled to be released around Fall '99 in Japan.
