Developer Monster Couch has announced that its Kickstarter-funded beat-'em-up Die for Valhalla will be released on May 29, 2018. The game will be available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Die for Valhalla puts players in the role of a Valkyrie, a supernatural maiden able to possess fallen warriors, monsters, or other things to help fight of threats to the Vikings. When the possessed being dies, the Valkyrie returns to a vulnerable spirit form from which they can turn into a barrel to cause some quick explosive damage, turn into a bush and heal their friends, or summon and possess a new being. Players start with access to a single Viking lcan and three classes, but will unlock more as they progress.
