During Microsoft's Xbox E3 briefing, the company showing off a trailer for Ashen. Developed by New Zealand-based studio Aurora44, Ashen is a passive multiplayer action RPG set in a world where there is no natural light due to eruptions covering the world in ash.

Players are tasked with guiding those who they trust to their base camp, with those who join the settlement contributing new skills or crafting abilities to help it survive. Ashen is planned for release on April 30, 2018 for PC and Xbox One.
