Ubisoft announced its latest Assassin's Creed game, Assassin's Creed Origins, at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, revealing that it will heavily feature various RPG mechanics. Assassin's Creed Origins takes the series to Ancient Egypt and puts players in control of Bayek, a sheriff. The game follows his fight against corruption, which ultimately leads to the formation of the Assassin Brotherhood.
Gameplay will feature new aspects to the series, including a leveling mechanic, loot drops, skill trees, NPCs, and quests. Players will also have a hawk companion who can be used to scout from above. Assassin's Creed Origins is set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One worldwide on October 27, 2017.
