At a recent gameplay premiere event for Destiny 2, Bungie revealed a cinematic for the game. Narrated by the character Zavala, the short video asks what it means to be a Guardian and the purpose they fulfill for mankind.

Set to release on September 8, 2017, Destiny 2 will continue the story and gameplay of the first Destiny as the Red Legion destroys the Tower, driving humanity away. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with a PC release to follow.
