Pirahna Bytes and THQ Nordic have announced the release date for their upcoming open world RPG ELEX. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 17, 2017. This announcement came at the end of a new cinematic trailer for the game, which hints at the different ways the world can react to the player's actions.

A Collector's Edition of the game was also announced. No price was given for the Collector's Edition but a list of its contents was released:

• A 10" figure of an Alb Mage
• A 2" combat drone amulet
• A cloth map of Magalan
• Original Soundtrack CD
• Artbook

Set on the planet of Magalan, ELEX takes place during a conflict between warring factions over a an element imbued with magical properties known as Elex. Players will control an Alb, one with a resistance to the addictive drug and the ability to harness its power, as they journey across the planet.

THQ Nordic also announced a release date for Airship Syndicate's Battle Chasers: Nightwar. The turn-based RPG based on Joe Madureira's 90s comic book series will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 3, 2017.
