Fire Emblem Echoes

Nintendo has unveiled its DLC plans for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. DLC for the game will roll out over five different packs beginning on May 19, 2017. Each pack will contain new maps, dungeons, characters, and/or items.

The first available DLC will be known as Fledgling Warriors Pack and will contain three pieces of content for $7.99. This pack is designed with the early game in mind and is comprised of one dungeon — The Astral Temple — and two maps.

The next two packs of DLC will become available on the same day, May 25, 2017. The Undaunted Heroes Pack will cost $9.99 and contain one dungeon — The Inner Sanctum — and two maps better fit for more advanced heroes. The Lost Altars Pack will contain ten extra dungeons for $14.99, but the main draw for the dungeons is the ability to unlock new classes not in the main game.

Releasing the following week on June 1, 2017, the Rise of the Deliverance Pack will be priced at $12.99 and act as the game's prologue. Players will control several unique characters not available in the main game and gain access to new story content, additional voice acting, and maps including new support conversations. The fifth DLC pack has no current details beyond its price, $5.99, and that it will contain two pieces of content.

A season pass will also be available for the game at $44.99. Some free DLC is also being planned for a limited time, the first of which will be a special gift from Goddess Mila. Fire Emblem Echoes is a 3DS remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden that will be available on May 19, 2017.
