XSEED Games has made a couple of new announcements for the latest western releases in Nihon Falcom's The Legend of Heroes series. The first piece of news is a release date for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd, the third part of the series' Liberl subseries following Trails in the Sky First Chapter and Trails in the Sky Second Chapter. The 3rd will be released for PC via Steam, GOG.com, and The Humble Store on May 3, 2017. The game will cost $29.99/£24.99/€29.99, with a 10% launch discount available for its first week on sale.

The publisher also revealed that it will be releasing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II for PC. Originally released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, the PC versions of the games will include more voiced dialogue (over 5,000 lines previously silent lines in the first game will be voiced), with a comparison trailer with the PlayStation 3 version showing one scene where extra voicing has been added. Trails of Cold Steel is set for release on PC in summer 2017, with Trails of Cold Steel II's PC release period not yet announced.
