Final Fantasy XV made appearances at both the Microsoft and Sony keynote presentations for this year's E3. Shown first during Microsoft's event was a gameplay clip featuring a battle against Titan, whose XV version is rather large, while the appearance during Sony's presentation saw the debut of the official E3 trailer featuring remixed music from Afrojack. The PlayStation version of the trailer also showed a "VR Experience" version of Final Fantasy XV for PlayStation VR where players control Prompto.

Following the keynotes, Square Enix also held another Active Time Report presentation about the game, where it talked about the two videos, in addition to showing off new trailers for the second episode of the Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV anime and Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV feature film. The relevant videos can be found below along with some screenshots. The Xbox presentation footage is not officially available on its own, but can be seen at the 5:18 mark in the Day 0 Active Time Report video. Square Enix will be hosting two further Active Time Reports during E3, the first on Tuesday, June 14 at 2:15 p.m. PST and the second on Wednesday, June 15 at 11:00 a.m. PST.

Final Fantasy XV is due to be released worldwide on September 30, 2016. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
