Stoic Games has announced the released date for the console versions of the tactical RPG The Banner Saga 2. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be available on July 26, 2016.

The Banner Saga 2 is a direct sequel to The Banner Saga, continuing the story of a traveling band of Vikings looking to stop the dredge, a mythical race of creatures once thought extinct. The game released to general acclaim on PC and Max last month.
