Atlus USA today revealed that it will be releasing Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse (aka Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final) to North America this summer. The game will be released digitally and physically for Nintendo 3DS with a recommended retail price of $49.99/CDN$64.99.

SMTIV: Apocalpyse takes places during the events of Shin Megami Tensei IV and puts players in the role of a Hunter cadet that is killed by demons in post-apocalyptic Tokyo. The protagonist is brought back to life at the behest of the deity Dagda in return for his fealty, and must set out on a path that treads the line between peace or anarachy. A number of characters from the original SMTIV appear in the game, with players able to partner up with one of seven allies along with the usual assortment of demons. The game's English website is live, with Atlus also posting a blog detailing its name change for North America.
