The launch trailer for The Banner Saga 2, Stoic's sequel to its 2014 indie hit, has arrived. The trailer serves as a summary of the game and shows off the more animated cutscenes meant to replace the slides from the predecessor.

The Banner Saga 2 continues the story of a caravan of Vikings as they attempt to stop the dredge, a race previously thought extinct that are the mortal enemies of humans and the varl. The game will release for PC on April 19, 2016, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions planned for later in the summer.
