Indie developer Anima Project's Anima: Gate of Memories will soon be released on Steam having successfully gone though its Greenlight program. The Spain-based studio's adventure RPG is scheduled for release on PC and Mac some time in the next couple of months, with releases on Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One also planned for later in 2015.
Anima: Gate of Memories is based on a Spanish tabletop role-playing titled Anima: Beyond Fantasy. The game stars The Bearer and Ergo, two members of a society called Nathaniel that has acted as guardians for mankind for a number of centuries. However, an artifact called The Byblos has been stolen from the society. In their hunt to retrieve the artifact, the duo end up finding themselves in a strange building where strange beings has also been summoned.
