Nintendo has announced the two newest entries in the ever-popular Pokémon franchise: Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. As the names indicate, these new games are remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, which were originally released on the Game Boy Advance in 2003. Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are coming to the 3DS, and, while details are still scarce, as such they will almost certainly use the engine and game mechanics from Pokémon X and Y. The newest entries in the franchise will be released worldwide this November.
Nintendo has also released a short teaser trailer for the games. It doesn't show any details about the actual games, but it does at least show their box art.
