Bandai Namco has unveiled more details about its upcoming release of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment. Chief among them is the announcement that the release will include a HD version of the game's predecessor, Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, which was originally released in Japan on PSP.

Players take on the role of Kirito, the main character in the franchise, who has been trapped inside a virtual reality MMORPG, where death in the game translates to death in real life. The game is said to feature pseudo-MMO elements to help emulate the VRMMORPG setting. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is set to be released digitally in North America in Summer 2014.
