2K Games has revealed the existence of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, a game that takes place between the current two Borderlands games. Players will be working alongside Handsome Jack and the Hyperion Corporation during his rise to the power. This will be available later this fall for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The Pre-Sequel takes place on the moon and features new enemies, vehicles, weapons, and more. There are also four new characters to play as.

• Athena, the Gladiator - First seen in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC
• Wilhelm, the Enforcer - A boss from Borderlands 2
• Nisha, the Lawbringer - The sheriff of Lynchwood from Borderlands 2
• Claptrap, the Fragtrap - Yes, THE Claptrap from Borderlands 2 is playable
