Lionhead Studios has just announced that it is developing Fable Anniversary, a remastered HD version of the original Fable and its expansion, The Lost Chapters. The game will be out this holiday season on the Xbox 360.

Along with the graphical upgrade to 1080p HD, which can be seen in the screenshots below, various changes have been made to fit the game in with the Xbox 360 environment. It will have Achievements, be SmartGlass compatible, and feature leaderboards for important achievements such as chicken kicking. It will also have a brand-new interface and "almost instant" load times.
