XSEED Games has announced its E3 lineup, which includes four RPGs. Here's an introduction to the games that we'll be hearing more about in a few weeks:
Ragnarok Odyssey ACE brings an expanded RO experience to the PlayStation 3 and Vita. Players will explore a giant dungeon with randomly-generated floors and plenty of new things to discover. The battle system has been changed from the previous game, as well.
Rune Factory 4 is the first game in the series to allow players to choose between a male and female protagonist. Rather than playing an amnesiac who has just arrived in a village, this character will be the prince or princess of the region and will have village management duties as well as tackling the traditional farming and dungeon exploration challenges. It will be playable on the Nintendo 3DS.
Valhalla Knights 3 brings multiplayer co-op action RPG combat to the PlayStation Vita. Players will be able to meet up locally or online via Wi-Fi in order to battle together. Custom characters can be made using one of the seven races and twenty available classes, and players can create their own custom party to adventure with when not grouping with others.
Finally, Ys: Memories of Celceta brings a "re-imagined" version of Ys IV to the West for the first time. Players can experience this evolution of the unique Ys action system while fighting more monsters at once than ever before.
