The latest round of Shin Megami Tensei news is all about the series heading West. Atlus has been doing a thorough job bringing over the games from the series lately, and other publishers have been stepping in to bring at least some of them to Europe.
We're already enjoying Soul Hackers here in North America, but Europeans will be able to play it this fall courtesy of NIS America.
It's always a toss-up on whether we receive crossover games in English, but in its most recent financial report, Nintendo has listed Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem as a title that is planned for release in North America and Europe. As a side note, Monolith Soft's upcoming Wii U RPG (code-named X) is also on that list. This isn't a guarantee that these titles will come out here, but it's a very positive sign.
The next SMT title to hit the West is, of course, Shin Megami Tensei IV. Here's an English-language teaser trailer for the game.
