RPGamers waiting for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die, the PC edition, will not need to wait for long, as Namco Bandai has set an August 24 release date. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die will appear on both Steam and Games for Windows Live in North America, with Europe and Australia getting special retail versions as well as the digital download options.
Namco Bandai has also confirmed that the content being added to Dark Souls: Prepare to Die, will be released to console players as Artorias of the Abyss. This expansion will add more explorable areas, with new enemies, NPCs and weapons to find within. A release is planned for the winter, for $14.99 on the PlayStation Network, and 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.
