While Square Enix announced that they would release Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for iOS devices back at E3 2010, it is only recently that additional details about the port have been given. It will become available sometime between late June and the middle of July of this year. Square Enix has also announced that there will be an iPad version of the game, which will likely be released slightly after the iPhone version. As the iPad supports 1024x768px HD resolutions, the sprites will be touched up as well.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions was first released on the PlayStation Portable back in 2007. It is a remake of the original Final Fantasy Tactics for the PlayStation.
