As previously covered, the plot of upcoming DS game Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 centers around the arrival of a group of beings called the Septentrion in Tokyo. Famitsu.com has revealed a few more of these enigmatic beings, as well as four more of the thirteen characters that will fight against them.

The creature on the left that resembles a rainbow ice cream cone is Sunday's Douhe. It is the first Septentrion to attack. The floating "ice cream" part of it can expand and explode. The middle sun-like one is Megrez, which attacks on Wednesday. It comes out of the Pacific Ocean, firing the multi-colored spikes on its body at various parts of Japan. These spikes can move and summon demons to attack people. The blue wing-like Septentrion on the right is Merak, which attacks on Monday. It can transform and use puck-like sub units to attack, which can be made to explode.

The four new characters are members of the Jips organization. From left to right they are Yamato, Makoto, Otome, and Fumi. Yamato (17)is the top member of Jips and is from the family that founded the organization. Makoto (26) is a loyal member of Jips Tokyo. Otome (24) of Jips Osaka is friendly and deals with medical areas. Fumi (21) of Jips Nagoya is a knowledgeable scientific researcher, though she shows little interest in anything else.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 will be released in Japan sometime this summer. It is not known if this game will be released outside of Japan as of yet. However, the enhanced 3DS port of the first game, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked will be released in North America around the same time.
