XSEED is giving Falcom fans some incentives to befriend the Ys series on Facebook. Everyone (over the age of 18 and a resident of the US or Canada) who joins the Ys Facebook Fan Page by June 11 will be entered to be one of the 14 winners in a "Name in Game" promotional contest. The winners will have special quest NPCs in Ys Seven named after them.

The Ys Facebook page also contains information about the Ys Seven Collector's Edition. The Collector's Edition will include a 20-song soundtrack, a 60-page artbook featuring art from a number of Ys games, and a cloth map. Ys Seven will be available for the PSP in North America some time this year.
