Today XSEED Games has revealed that they will be releasing tri-Crescendo and Namco Bandai's Wii RPG Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. This title was released in Japan on January 22, 2009 and was the second highest selling game that week topping out at over 26,000 copies. Fragile will hit North American shores later this year.

The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world that is covered in a dark fog. All cities are empty and almost everyone in the world has vanished. You will take the role of Seto, a young boy searching the world for any sign of survivors. Seto lived with his grandfather for a long time before the man passed away. Strangely, Seto cannot even recall his own grandfather's name. After burying him, he becomes very lonely and begins his search for anyone living. During this quest, he briefly encounters a mysterious girl named Ren, and he continues to look for her throughout his quest.

Players will use the Wii Remote as a flashlight to interact with the environment and to solve puzzles. Seto will also be able to use items such as a stick, a bow, a crowbar, and a hatchet as weapons. He'll be defending himself against ghosts and demons in this mysterious world.

Jun Iwasaki, President of XSEED Games had this to say to IGN, "We are ecstatic to be able to finally confirm Fragile: Farewell Ruins of the Moon for gamers in North America. We have received countless requests from eager gamers pleading with us to publish this title, and it gives us great joy to be able to give the public what they want while being able to work on such a great game."
