Bethesda Softworks has announced the previously Xbox 360 and PC exclusive downloadable content for Fallout 3 will be coming to the PlayStation 3, beginning in late June with Operation: Anchorage. The Pitt and Broken Steel will be following that release at 4-6 week intervals.

An update will be released for the PlayStation 3 prior to these releases that will allow users to download and play the DLC. This content will only be available for the PlayStation Network, as retail add-on packs are not possible.

There are two new sets of downloadable content coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta will be released for Xbox 360 and PC in June and July, respectively, and followed on PlayStation 3 after the original three DLC releases.

Point Lookout will add a newly traversable swamp area that adds new quests and content. Operation Zeta allows the players to experience an alien abduction firsthand, and find out if they're able to survive. Both of these titles will cost 800 points with download or $9.99 if bought in-store as a token card.

Fallout 3 Add-on Pack #1 will package together Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt for $19.99, and will release on May 26. Fallout 3 Add-on Pack #2 will package together Broken Steel and Point Lookout is scheduled for August release, and has yet to receive a suggested retail price.

Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will release in October and will package together the original game and all five add-on packs. This edition will have a suggested retail price of $59.99 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and $49.99 for the PC.
